‘to the stars who listen—and the dreams that are answered’ . this is the year my dream of publishing will be answered. i’m tired of wishing, of dreaming. i’m ready for doing, for sharing. i’m ready to share my dreams with you. . i’ve wanted to make bookish products for a while now, ever since I stumbled upon @dreamyandco and @po_jainter’s @etsy shops, but now it’s time. selling bookish merch will get me so much closer towards my dream of publishing. . my next step is hiring an editor. i’m currently talking with a handful of potential editors right now, who all have worked for years in the publishing industry at large publishing houses. their costs range from over $1k to $3k, which is the standard rate for my word count. but that’s far from affordable for me. . but @tearstainbooks is going to change that. even though i don’t have the money now, i do have the plan. i have the art, the supplies, to sell bookish items for my fellow tearful readers. and i can’t wait to share them with you. . website + products coming soon! . 🖤sneak peeks starting 2.20.2020 🖤preorders opening 2.24.2020 🖤items dropping 3.1.2020 . #booklover #bookquotes #bookmerch

‘don’t let the hard days win’ . somewhere along the line, the hard days won. i stopped writing. stopped editing my writing. stopped pushing forward with my dream to publish. . fear, doubt, anxiety, depression, stress, obligations, societal pressure. i carried them all, and they’re all very real and very heavy. . but i have a counselor. i take medicine. and i’m working on caring about my opinion of me more than other people’s opinions of me. . so even though my past hard days won, today’s a better day. tomorrow might me hard, might be tough, but so am i. . i’m so much more, so much stronger, than i know, and i promise cross my heart that you are too. 🖤 . we are not broken or weak or wrong. we are all on our journeys. we are all getting there. . someday soon, i @morganvegawrite will be a published author. and i’m going to be a step closer because of @tearstainbooks. i’m selling bookish merch for my fellow tearful readers in order to save up to hire a professional book editor. and i can’t thank you enough for already showing me so much love and support. . maybe the hard days didn’t win after all. . #booklover #bookmerch #readersofinstagram
