What’s Your Sign? Book Review

During my worst-ever mental illness struggle, I turned to witchcraft—including astrology—for comfort and support. I’m not talking about the witchcraft usually portrayed in media (i.e. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) or demonized as satanic by your grandparents. (Satanism is a religion, witchcraft is a practice, and for f*ck’s sake, they’re completely different.)

My witchcraft is connecting with the world around me, including the moon and planets and stars.

Enter the Sanctuary app. I had used lots of various astrological apps, but none compare to Sanctuary. So when I saw they were releasing this book, What’s Your Sign? A Guide to Astrology for the Cosmically Curious, I had to get an advanced reviewer’s copy.

Spoiler alert: I really enjoyed it.

★★★★

Pro tip: If you’re new to astrology, download the Sanctuary app before reading this book. And if you’re not new to astrology like me, this isn’t geared to you. Unless you’re obsessed with the Sanctuary app like me and it’s more of a want ✨

Another note: This book isn’t for astrology doubters but—like the subtitle says—for the cosmically curious.

This book is full of information you can Google—or read more about in the Sanctuary app, with information tailored to your natal chart. Yet it’s a handy reference nonetheless.

About the Author

Discover Sanctuary: the first-ever astrology app to provide live, on-demand personalized readings with professional astrologers. The app offers daily horoscopes, live birth chart readings, astrology guides, and more. The app is available for free on iOS and Android.

Again, if you haven’t downloaded the Sanctuary app, get on it. It has been my go-to astrology app for over a year now. And I love that it gives you a daily tarot card.
